Project Overview

As part of an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Casa Grande, the Arizona Department of Transportation will be repaving a portion of State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) between Interstate 10 and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) in the City of Casa Grande. Upon completion of the project, the city will take control of Florence Boulevard.

The project itself will consist of a full width mill and fill overlay, new curb, gutter and sidewalk, improvements to the existing sidewalk ramps to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and upgrading the existing signals to include video detection. Construction is set to begin in mid-June and scheduled for completion by early-November.
