Mission / Vision / Goals

Mission:

The mission of TTG is to serve as “mission control” for ADOT Traffic Operations.  In addition, TTG contributes to the research, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of the ADOT transportation system with the use of technology.

Vision:

It is the Transportation Technology Group’s vision to be an international leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Goals:

1. Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the public.
2. Reduce congestion in urban areas.
3. Provide statewide incident management.
4. Provide quality and timely information to the public.
5. Design and construct quality ITS projects in a timely manner.
6. Develop and retain a high performing, successful workforce.
7. Support and maintain ITS infrastructure.
8. Improve public and political support.
