State Route 801
Closures & Restrictions

The proposed State Route 801 would be located south of I-10, north of the Salt and Gila rivers, and would connect the proposed South Mountain Freeway with the proposed Loop 303. Two studies are currently underway to determine the alignment of the proposed freeway.

The first phase of the study is the SR 801 - Loop 303 to Loop 202 and would connect the two proposed freeways in the southwest region of the Valley.

The second phase of the study is the the SR 801 - State Route 85 to Loop 303. This phase of the study will look at the remaining portion of the western portion of the freeway, from the proposed Loop 303 to State Route 85 in Buckeye.
