Connection Loop 303 dedication event

Saturday, May 7, 2011
7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Ceremony to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the Loop 303 (Bob Stump Memorial Parkway). This initial 14-mile segment between Happy Valley Parkway and Interstate 17 represents an important milestone in transportation connectivity in the West Valley, and is the first new freeway segment built as part of the Maricopa Association of Governments' 20-Year Regional Transportation Plan approved by voters in 2004. The open house dedication will allow families and community members an opportunity to spend a morning riding bikes, walking or jogging on the freeway before it opens to traffic the week of May 9.

Event Information

The public parking entrance will be located at the northbound on-ramp at Happy Valley Parkway and Loop 303; access to the parking area will open at 6:30 a.m. to allow vehicles time to park prior to the event. To exit the event, guests will continue on Loop 303 to Lake Pleasant Parkway.

Note: Peoria residents and event attendees should expect traffic delays in and around the event location.
