The proposed project is located within the Cities of El Mirage, Youngtown, and Surprise on US 60 in Maricopa County. The project begins at Milepost 138.4 and extends to Milepost 148.5 for a total distance of approximately 10.1 miles. The work consists of widening Grand Avenue to accommodate an additional through-lane in each direction. The work also includes milling AC pavement; furnishing and placing aggregate base, AC and AR-ACFC; new sidewalk, curb and gutter; traffic signals, street lighting, new guardrail, drainage features, noise walls and other related work.
