The goal of this class is to get you into a full time, paid position within a registered apprenticeship program or with a contractors in-house training program. We will do our best to assist you. If you do your best, your chances are excellent.
The class is free to participants.
Clothing requirements will vary, but jeans and a shirt are usually fine.
If you need something for class, the instructor will let you know.
You are eligible to remain on unemployment if you are receiving it now.
The State of Arizona currently has a hiring freeze, and that includes ADOT.
Only those in attendance on the first day will be assured of a place in class. If there isn't room for you, you are guaranteed a slot in the next available class.
Felony convictions will not keep you out of registered apprenticeship programs.
We are not able to provide a stipend during class, due to Federal regulations.
Employment is not guaranteed.
Participate in everything, you won't know what might appeal, if you don't try it.
