Hours of Operation
Admittance to HRDC is through the North Entrance, which is south of the main parking area. Organization and Employee Development (OED) Staff will have the facility open Monday - Friday by 6:00 a.m. and they will promptly secure the facility at 5:00 p.m. OED Staff would appreciate your effort to end your use of the facility by 5:00 p.m.
Extended operating hours must be approved five (5) working days in advance of your scheduled use of the facility.
The room you reserved will be set up to your specifications. if available, OED Staff will assist you in the rearrangement of your room.
Additional Space Requirements/Breakout Rooms
All of the rooms at HRDC are reserved in advance. Breakout rooms must be reserved at the time you make your original reservation. The OED receptionist will check on the availability of space for last-minute requests. When you are given additional meeting space, you may rearrange the room. Rooms are reserved in advance and set up to the requestor's specifications. If a room layout is altered, return the room to its original layout our you may be charged a set-up fee.
The equipment you request at the time of room reservation will be provided in proper working order. If additional equipment is needed at the last minute, it will be provided based upon availability. Please report any equipment malfunctions to OED receptionist.

Telephones are located between the Restrooms and the Break Area just behind the Red Wall. Telephones in the classrooms are available for use during break times. Please do not use the telephones in the Administrative Staff areas.
Messages will be taken by the OED receptionist and posted on the white message board in the main hall across from the Grand Canyon Room. Meetings or classes will be interrupted only in emergency situations.
HRDC has a large break area for you to use during your visit to the Center. Vending machines located in the break area provide coffee, soft drinks and snacks.
Visitors who will be spending the entire day at HRDC may wish to bring their own snacks and lunch. A refrigerator and microwave oven are available to store and warm items you bring to the Center.
Visitors to HRDC may bring their own food. Fast food restaurants are located north of HRDC on Thomas Road just east of the I-17 Freeway. Restaurants and sandwich shops near HRDC will take orders and will deliver. Order at least on hour in advance of need. Catering services for morning coffee and Danish, lunches, and afternoon refreshments are allowed in the Center.
Please leave the facility as you found it. Ask members of your meeting or class to pick up any papers, soda cans, name tents, etc., and deposit these items in the trash. Remove any materials you may have attached to the walls in your room, wipe the white boards clean, set the air conditioning to 80 degrees, and turn off the lights.
No smoking is allowed anywhere inside HRDC. Smoking is allowed outside the Center. Please use the ashtrays.
Free parking is available on the north and south side of the HRDC building. Handicapped spaces are provided and a wheelchair ramp allows access to the Center.
