Assistant Director, Multimodal Planning Division
Scott's over 20 years of transportation experience includes work in planning, programming, project management, project development and operations. Scott first joined ADOT in February1993 in the Yuma District, and he has also worked for the city of Yuma and as a consultant with Parsons Brinckerhoff.
Scott returned to ADOT in 2010 as the director of the Planning and Programming Group in the Multimodal Planning Division, and he was appointed director of ADOT's Multimodal Planning Division Sept. 26, 2011. He oversees the department's development of multimodal plans and programs to include transportation planning, transit planning and aeronautics through a collaborative process. He also oversees transportation data collection and analysis, GIS, the Local Public Agency (LPA) program and the performance management, asset management and research activities for the department that enables innovation in transportation.
Scott is certified as a professional transportation planner (PTP) and a public manager (CPM).
