Crews continue to make substantial progress on the Interstate 10 widening project between Val Vista and Early roads. Later this week, workers will be paving several ramps in the work zone. In addition to the paving, crews will prepare eastbound I-10 for a traffic lane shift as part of the project. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
- Eastbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Val Vista and Earley roads from 8 p.m. Thursday (June 28) to 5 a.m. Friday (June 29) for striping.

Westbound I-10 off-ramp at McCartney Road closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday (June 28) for paving. DETOUR: Exit at State Route 387 to reenter I-10 eastbound for access to McCartney Road.
- Westbound I-10 on-ramp at McCartney Road closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday (June 28) for paving. DETOUR: Travel east on I-10 to Florence Boulevard for access to westbound I-10.
- Westbound I-10 off-ramp at Florence Boulevard closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday (June 29) for paving. DETOUR: Exit at McCartney Road to reenter I-10 eastbound for access to Florence Boulevard.
- Westbound I-10 on-ramp at Florence Boulevard closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday (June 29) for paving. DETOUR: Travel east on I-10 to Jimmie Kerr Boulevard for access to westbound I-10.
- Eastbound I-10 off-ramp at McCartney Road closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday (June 29) for paving. DETOUR: Exit at Florence Boulevard to reenter I-10 westbound for access to McCartney Road.
- Eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Florence Boulevard closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday (July 2) for paving. DETOUR: Exit at Jimmie Kerr Boulevard to reenter I-10 westbound for access to Florence Boulevard.
- Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Florence Boulevard closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday (July 2) for paving. DETOUR: Travel west on I-10 to State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) for access to eastbound I-10.
- Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at McCartney Road closed up to six hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday (July 2) for paving. DETOUR: Travel west on I-10 to State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) for access to eastbound I-10.
