Night work scheduled on I-17 at Cordes Junction

Lane closures scheduled overnight for next several months on SR 69

October 13, 2011

The Arizona Department of Transportation will continue night work on the project to reconstruct the Interstate 17/Cordes Junction traffic interchange from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday (October 16) through Thursday (October 20). The left lane of northbound and southbound I-17 will be closed as crews work on the crossover lanes and excavation along the work zone.

In addition to the lane closures on I-17, the right lane of State Route 69 approaching I-17 will be closed for the remainder of the year as crews work on the new on-ramp.

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, be alert for construction equipment and personnel, and comply with the reduced speed limit (55 mph) through the work zone.
