Final lane striping scheduled Friday on State Route 66 from Airway Avenue to Mohave Airport Drive

Motorists should expect brief delays and intermittent lane closures

Crews are scheduled to apply permanent lane striping to the recently paved section of State Route 66 from Airway Avenue to Mohave Airport Drive Friday, Oct. 26, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Work hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists should expect short delays and intermittent lane closures in the work zone. ADOT advises motorists to slow down and be alert for construction personnel and equipment.

This work will complete a $3 million project, which included repaving the roadway, new guardrail and new curb and gutter.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
