Rubberized asphalt paving on Interstate 10 widening project near Casa Grande continues through next week

Ramps will be closed for up to five hours

Crews will continue rubberized asphalt paving as part of the I-10 widening project between Val Vista and Earley roads in Pinal County. To keep traffic from driving on the new pavement, a number of ramps will need to be closed for several hours while paving occurs. Please use caution in the work zone and follow detour signs. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:

  • Westbound I-10 ramps at Florence Boulevard closed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 9), Tuesday (Aug. 14) and Thursday (Aug. 16).
  • Westbound I-10 ramps at McCartney Road closed between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 9), Tuesday (Aug. 14) and Thursday (Aug. 16).
  • Eastbound I-10 ramps at McCartney Road closed between noon and 5 p.m. Monday (Aug. 13) and Wednesday (Aug. 15).
  • Eastbound I-10 ramps at State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) closed between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday (Aug. 13) and Wednesday (Aug. 15).
