The Arizona Department of Transportation will be installing a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) to help pedestrians cross US 60 near Globe High School. The PHB will be installed at US 60 and High Street in Globe.

What to expect:

• Construction will begin June 11 and is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of July.
• Eastbound and westbound lanes on US 60 near High Street will reduced from two lanes to one lane in both directions.

A Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) is a special type of device used to alert drivers and control traffic at a location without a traffic signal to assist pedestrians to cross a street or highway.
