Photogrammetry and Mapping

Mission

The mission of the ADOT Photogrammetry and Mapping Section is to provide a wide array of mapping products for use in the design and maintenance of Arizona's roadways.

Products and Services

The ADOT Photogrammetry and Mapping section has the capability to produce a variety of engineering grade mapping products including digital terrain models (DTM's), topographic maps and orthophotos.

Technical Environment

The ADOT Photogrammetry Section currently utilizes ten HP Z600 workstations running Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 64 bit. All data is collected using Cardinal Systems' VR Two Softcopy Photogrammetry Suite. Once the data is collected and checked stereoscopically the files are translated into Bentley Microstation V8 DGN format for final editing and delivery.
