Partnering Community of Practice Approved as a Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (WASHTO) Subcommittee

October 5, 2022

The ADOT founded Partnering Community of Practice (PCoP) was formed in October 2019 and started with 5 states meeting quarterly. It now comprises 12 states whose members are state level executive leaders or management and directly involved in their states partnering program or program development efforts. As a WASHTO subcommittee, the members are committed to advancing partnering principles by:

  • Promoting stronger relationships between members and industry peers
  • Provide a forum to discuss ideas and innovation using partnering principles
  • Advocate best practices as discovered through partnered meetings
  • Build working relationships with other governmental agencies
