ADOT Business Development Program — This multi-tiered Business Development program is designed to provide certified Disadvantaged Enterprise (DBE) firms with general and firm-specific training and technical assistance to help them become more competitive within the heavy highway construction industry.  This program will give DBE firms an opportunity to gain that competitive edge within and outside the highway industry.  Learn more on the DBE Supportive Services section of the ADOT website.

Arizona Small Business Development Center Network —The AZSBDC Network is the largest and most accessible source of local assistance for small businesses in Arizona, serving small business owners from locations across the state. Together, we represent an innovative, highly productive partnership between ten community college districts and the U. S. Small Business Administration. Arizona @ Work—This website is provided by the Workforce Arizona Council (WAC) to provide a variety of resources to both employers and employees. The website provides information and links for a variety of issues, from recruitment and training to tax credit programs and business consulting. Arizona Small Business Association — The Arizona Small Business Association is a membership organization dedicated to helping small businesses grow and achieve success. They provide education, mentoring, and one-on-one counseling. Learn more on the Arizona Small Business Association website

National Small Business Resource Guide —The National Small Business Resource Guide is published by the U.S. Small Business Administration to share useful services and information with small businesses. It contains resources, advice, and stories highlighting particular businesses. It can be found on the Small Business Association website. 

Arizona Commerce Authority Small Business Support — This website is dedicated to providing information, incentives and support for small businesses. It provides event calendars, information about incentives for small businesses and a customized checklist program to help navigate the complexities of starting a new business. ADOT Company Bio Tool — ADOT has created an easy-to-use tool for DBEs and SBCs to create one-page company biographies to help market your company. You can find it on the Idea Gardener website

Business Plan Template — Building a business plan can be confusing, and it can be hard to know where to begin. A simple, one-page template to get you started can be found on Businessplantemplate.net. You can also explore the site for more helpful templates.

SCORE — When you're starting or growing a business, it's important to have someone in your corner who can offer advice and support. That's where SCORE comes in. SCORE is a national nonprofit organization that provides small businesses FREE mentoring services, webinars, and workshops. Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) — The OSDBU is a section of the U.S. Department of Transportation devoted to ensuring that small businesses and DBEs have the maximum opportunity to participate in the USDOT contracting processes. This means they provide various types of assistance and help small businesses develop the industry relationships necessary to compete for USDOT funded contracts.
