Contractor-Based On-the-Job Training/Contract Compliance
Contractor-Based OJT
Applicable to construction FHWA funded projects advertised prior to February 1, 2020
The ADOT Contractor Based OJT Pilot Program does not apply to construction projects that are funded through ADOT, but administered by Certification Acceptance (CA) Agencies.
Pilot program requirements allow contractors to use OJT hours from ADOT and non-ADOT projects to meet their OJT obligations for the pilot program. As such, a contractor may choose to apply hours that are obtained from a project that is administered by a CA toward their pilot program requirements. A contractor may not; however, apply hours to a CA project from a different project.
