Traffic Alerts - I-10: TI Construction: Fairway Drive

Plan for lane restrictions on I-10 (Papago Freeway) between Dysart Road and Avondale Boulevard starting Friday night, May 8

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions in both directions of Interstate 10 in the Avondale area from 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 11. I-10 is scheduled to be narrowed to two lanes between Dysart Road and Avondale Boulevard for paving.

Lane closures are scheduled to occur as listed below:

  • Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between Dysart Road and Avondale Boulevard beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, and continuing through 5 a.m. Monday, May 11.
  • The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Dysart Road will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Consider using McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to Avondale Boulevard to access eastbound I-10.
  • The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Avondale Boulevard will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Consider exiting at 107th Avenue, then using Van Buren Street or McDowell Road to return to Avondale Boulevard.
  • Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between Avondale Boulevard and Dysart Road beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, and continuing through 5 a.m. Monday, May 12.
  • The westbound I-10 Avondale Boulevard on-ramp will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Consider using McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to Dysart Road in order to reach I-10.
  • The westbound I-10 Dysart Road off-ramp will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Consider using Litchfield Road to Van Buren Street or McDowell Road to return to Dysart Road.
