Northbound Interstate 17 Paving Project: Coconino County Line to Interstate 40

The Arizona Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration are reconstructing and repairing the pavement on northbound Interstate 17 between mileposts 311.60 and 339.90, north of Stoneman Lake Road in Coconino County. This project includes removing and replacing the existing pavement; removing and replacing the northbound and southbound bridge decks; repairing approach slabs; widening the northbound bridge deck at Willard Springs Road; and repairing the northbound approach slab for Woods Canyon Bridge. The project also includes installation of new pavement markings and guardrail and other related work. This project will take place over two construction seasons, beginning in early May 2018. Completion is scheduled for late fall 2019.
