Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time

The restrictions are scheduled daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 5 a.m. to noon on Friday

Motorists should expect delays while the following restrictions are in place:

  • SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction for travel between Christopher Creek Road and Old Rim Road (mileposts 272 - 283). The lanes will be restricted in 3-mile increments while the rumble strip installation is underway.
  • A 14-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place. Wider loads can be accommodated with 12-hours notice.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down in the work zone while the pavement improvement project is underway.
