SR 264 Dinnebito Wash Bridge

Overview

SR 264 Dinnebito Wash Project Map

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be starting a bridge rehabilitation project on State Route 264 on the Hopi reservation, about 40 miles east of Tuba City.

The work will reconstruct the Dinnebito Wash Bridge, located at milepost 363.

What to expect during construction

Drivers on State Route 264 should expect lane restrictions on the bridge over the next few months.

The following traffic restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. seven days a week beginning in early May through the summer:

  • State Route 264 will be reduced to one lane of alternating east- and westbound travel on the Dinnebito Wash Bridge.
  • A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect in the construction zone.

ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.

The restrictions are needed so crews can safely demolish, remove and replace the existing bridge decks, reconstruct the roadway approach transitions, replace guardrails and other related work.
