I-17: Dugas Road Ash Creek Bridge - Cordes Junction

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration, is planning to improve the life of the Dugas Road-Ash Creek Bridge by installing erosion-control measures. The project, near Interstate-17 at milepost 269, is approximately 6 miles northeast of the junction with State Route 69 in Cordes Junction in Yavapai County.

As part of the project, a new concrete floor will be installed across the five-span bridge footing to protect the structure from erosion.

Construction is anticipated to begin in February 2021. The project will occur within ADOT right-of-way and easements. There are no anticipated restrictions for drivers on I-17.
