I-10: Benson Bypass Project

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is completing a pavement preservation project located on Interstate 10 in the Southcentral District, Cochise County within the Town of Benson.

  • The project limits begin at MP 303.07 Westbound and 303.69 Eastbound and end at MP 307.90 for a distance of 5.33 miles. 
  • The work consists of milling the existing pavement surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete 
  • the project also includes guardrail installation, bridge overlay work, pavement marking, traffic control and other related work. 

Timeline

  • Start of Construction: Winter 2021
  • Estimated Completion: Fall 2021
