US 60 Pavement Rehabilitation project between Superior and Top-of-the-World

The Arizona Department of Transportation began a pavement rehabilitation and guardrail project on US 60 between Superior and Top-of-the-World in late November 2019.

Other elements of the project include:

  • Concrete sidewalk/curb and gutter work at the US 60/State Route 177 interchange
  • Bridge deck rehabilitation at Devils Canyon
  • Signage upgrades
  • Rumble strip installation
  • Shoulder improvements

The entire project is scheduled to wrap up by early fall 2020.

Motorists should expect delays with flaggers and pilot cars guiding traffic.

Vehicles should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
