Plan for lane restrictions on US 95, B-10, SR 10B in Quartzsite beginning Sept. 26

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on US 95, Business-10 and State Route 10B in Quartzsite beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26.

The following restrictions are scheduled to occur Mondays through Thursdays from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 26, and ending Thursday, Dec. 15:

  • US 95 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Kuehn Street and Tyson Street.
  • B-10 (Main Street) between mileposts 19.55 and 19.78 will be reduced to one lane.
  • SR 10B will be reduced to one lane between Riggles Avenue and Main Street.
  • A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph. 

Crews will be upgrading the sidewalk, curb ramps, driveways and pavement as part of phase 2 ADA features upgrades in Quartzsite.
