State Route 95: Riverside Drive to Bill Williams River Pavement Rehabilitation


The Arizona Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration completed a project to rehabilitate pavement conditions along State Route 95, Riverside Drive (milepost 155) to Bill Williams River (milepost 161), including State Route 95 spur between mileposts 158.71 and 159.53. 

The work consisted of replacing the existing asphaltic concrete friction course and completed spot repairs by milling and replacing it with new asphaltic concrete. The work also included application of chip seal on the spur, fog coat in the shoulder area, applying new pavement markings, and installing rumble strips.

Project Area

The project is located on State Route 95, about 20 miles south of Lake Havasu in La Paz County. Construction will take place between mileposts 155 and 161.

Construction was completed in fall 2022.
