State Route 95: Riverside Drive to Bill Williams River Pavement Rehabilitation


The Arizona Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration are initiating a project to rehabilitate pavement conditions along State Route 95, Riverside Drive (milepost 155) to Bill Williams River (milepost 161), including State Route 95 spur between mileposts 158.71 and 159.53. 

The work consists of replacing the existing asphaltic concrete friction course and spot repairs by milling and replacing it with new asphaltic concrete. The work also includes application of chip seal on the spur, fog coat in the shoulder area, applying new pavement markings, installing rumble strips, and complete other related work.

Project Area

The project is located on State Route 95, about 20 miles south of Lake Havasu in La Paz County. Construction will take place between mileposts 155 and 161. 

What to Expect

Construction is scheduled to begin late fall 2022 and continue through spring 2023.

Drivers should expect possible delays throughout the project and should consider alternate routes. Night work is scheduled to occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
