US 95 and State Route 85 Pavement Treatment Project between Yuma and Gila Bend

The Arizona Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration are repairing the pavement on US 95 between mileposts 29 and milepost 34, and in Maricopa County on State Route 85, south of the town of Gila Bend from milepost 16 to milepost 32.

The $1.7 million project consists of applying a rubberized chip seal coat on US 95 and applying a double chip seal coat on SR 85. In addition, the work includes applying fog coat, replacing existing pavement markings and other miscellaneous work.

Project Area

The project area is on US 95 between mileposts 29 and milepost 34, and in Maricopa County on SR 85, south of the town of Gila Bend from milepost 16 to milepost 32.

What to expect:

The project is scheduled to begin in spring 2019 with completion anticipated in summer 2019.
