Yuma Salinity Canal Bridge Rehabilitation Project

The Arizona Department of Transportation is rehabilitating the Yuma Salinity Canal Bridge located in Yuma County at Avenue 28E and County 9th Street. 

The work consists of removing and replacing bridge:

  • Girders
  • Railing/barrier
  • Abutments

New asphalt concrete will be placed on the bridge deck and roadway. The work will also include other safety improvements.

What to Expect

The project is scheduled to begin early Spring 2022 with completion anticipated in late summer 2022. Drivers should plan for closures during rehabilitation.
