Plan for lane restrictions on SR 95 in Parker beginning Sept. 26

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on State Route 95 in Parker beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26.

The following restrictions are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 26, and ending Dec. 15:

  • SR 95 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Chemehuevi Avenue (milepost 144) to Beacon Road (148).
  • Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
  • A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. 
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph. 
  • The restrictions will be made in 3-mile increments.

The restrictions are needed as crews replace the pavement as part of the State Route 95: Chemehuevi Avenue to Beacon Road pavement preservation project.
