
Current and upcoming Loop 101 closures and restrictions
UPDATE: Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard restrictions planned Sept. 16-19
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions as part of the Loop 101 widening project in north Scottsdale:
- The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will continue to be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, through Friday morning, Sept. 19.
- Detour: Drivers may consider exiting at Princess Drive/Pima Road before using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard or Raintree Drive.
- NEW: Eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard at Loop 101 will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.
- Detour: Drivers may use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive to the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard east of the closure.
- Westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will continue to be narrowed to one lane between 90th Street and Hayden nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, through Friday morning, Sept. 19.
- UPDATED: Eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be narrowed to one lane between Hayden Road and 90th Street nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17, and ending Friday morning, Sept. 19.
Upcoming Closures
- Northbound Loop 101 between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29.

Southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive closed for approximately 60 days beginning Sept. 2
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following long-term (approximately 60-day) ramp closure for reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project:
- The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.
DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to Raintree Drive.
Northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Raintree Drive closed for approximately 60 days beginning July 20
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following long-term (approximately 60-day) ramp closure for reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project:
- The northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Raintree Drive will be closed beginning at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, July 20, for approximately 60 days, for ramp reconstruction.
DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to the northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.
