Expect around-the-clock lane restrictions on SR 377 between Holbrook and Heber-Overgaard beginning May 26 as shoulder widening project continues
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for around-the-clock lane restrictions with alternating directions of travel through the work zone along State Route 377 between Holbrook and Heber-Overgaard beginning Tuesday, May 26.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place 1 mile apart in the work zone to direct traffic through. The signals will be in operation throughout the remainder of the project. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
The 24/7 lane closure will be in place to protect vehicles from the steep drop-offs that will be present while crews construct the new shoulders.
The project is anticipated to be completed this fall.
