Closures and restrictions for US 60/Loop 303 Interchange Improvements
Intermittent overnight lane restrictions planned Oct. 8 for pavement marking
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will update the lane configuration on US 60 (Grand Avenue) at Loop 303 to improve traffic flow in response to community feedback. Westbound US 60 will be restriped to three continuous lanes approaching Loop 303 to address concerns about traffic merging into three lanes.
Drivers are advised to plan for intermittent overnight right lane restrictions along US 60 at Loop 303 from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, as crews restripe the lanes.
Drivers should slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
Additional improvements planned at US 60/Loop 303 and US 60/163rd Avenue to improve traffic flow
In early October, ADOT will begin work on a second phase of near-term improvements on Loop 303 and US 60 to address traffic congestion. Construction of the following improvements is scheduled to start the week of Oct. 6 and take approximately six months to complete.
