Screening, Treatment and Education Facilities
Certain driving offenses require behavioral screening and potentially follow-up treatment and education.
- MVD-ordered screening is a face-to-face interview conducted by a behavioral health professional or a behavioral health technician.
- Treatment is based upon the information and results obtained from the DUI screening agency or referring court.
- Education consists of at least 16 hours in the classroom setting and is provided by a behavioral health professional or behavioral health technician.
For information on facilities that offer screening, treatment and/or education services, refer to the Screening, Treatment and Education Facilities list.
