Screening, Treatment and Education Facilities
Certain driving offenses require behavioral screening and potentially follow-up treatment and education.
- MVD-ordered screening is a face-to-face interview conducted by a behavioral health professional or a behavioral health technician.
- Treatment is based upon the information and results obtained from the DUI screening agency or referring court.
- Education consists of at least 16 hours in the classroom setting and is provided by a behavioral health professional or behavioral health technician.
- Evidence Based Psychotherapy is psychotherapy services that are offered by a psychologist who is licensed pursuant to Title 32, Chapter 19.1 and who integrates the best available scientific research with clinical expertise based on the context of the patient's characteristics, culture and preferences.

To complete your Revocation Investigation Packet, please visit Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, to locate an authorized Addiction Counselor in your area.
Note: To help expedite the process, please provide your addiction counselor a copy of your MVR. Lab Results are not acceptable for DUI Screening. (e.g. participation in self-help group or peer support program, such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous).
