First of 23 pavement repair projects underway, more starting soon

ADOT completing $50.5 million in projects to start, with more planned

ADOT has created a website at azdot.gov/PavingRepairs with a schedule and map of the initial round of $50.5 million in improvements, as well as information on $94 million in planned additional pavement repairs. Most of the projects are in northern Arizona.

ADOT invites input on Riggs Road Traffic Interchange at SR 347

Study is looking at options to reduce congestion, enhance safety

We've launched a study to improve traffic flow and safety at State Route 347 and Riggs Road and are seeking the public’s input on possible options for a new interchange at this location. ADOT is evaluating a range of interchange alternatives to separate traffic on a new bridge.

Overnight SR 179 restrictions in Sedona area start June 5

Pavement sealant work will require pilot vehicle operation

Overnight lane restrictions along SR 179 in the Sedona area are set for Monday through Thursday nights, June 5-8, so crews can apply a pavement sealant. SR 179 will be narrowed to one lane with traffic alternating one direction at a time between the SR 89A intersection and Chapel Road.

Arizona traveler information - AZ 511

AZ 511 is part of 511, the nationally-designated, three-digit telephone number for traveler information. Information on highway closures and restrictions is available by calling 511, visiting az511.gov or downloading the AZ 511 mobile app. The website and app include routing, travel times, roadwork and views from ADOT's statewide network of highway cameras. AZ 511 is maintained and operated by the Arizona Department of Transportation in cooperation with regional, state and local partners.
