Some people have reported receiving a text message from ADOT demanding payment for an outstanding traffic ticket.  This is a scam.  It has no connection to ADOT and should be ignored.

Traffic fatalities in Arizona dip for second year in a row

ADOT Crash Facts report shows impairment, speeding as leading factors in fatal crashes

ADOT produces the annual Motor Vehicle Crash Facts report, which is compiled from traffic crash reports provided by law enforcement agencies around the state. The data shows that crashes and fatalities are driven by driver behavior, involving impairment, speed and failure to use seatbelts.

Loop 202 East off-ramp at Alma School Road in Chandler to close July 16

Ramp will be closed for two months for Santan Freeway widening project

The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Alma School Road in Chandler will close for approximately 60 days starting at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16. The closure will allow crews to reconstruct the ramp as part of the ongoing Santan Freeway widening project. Learn more here.

AZ 511 is part of 511, the nationally-designated, three-digit telephone number for traveler information. Information on highway closures and restrictions is available by calling 511, visiting az511.gov or downloading the AZ 511 mobile app. The website and app include routing, travel times, roadwork and views from ADOT's statewide network of highway cameras. AZ 511 is maintained and operated by the Arizona Department of Transportation in cooperation with regional, state and local partners.
