SR 347 Corridor Projects

SR 347 Corridor Projects

ADOT has several planned improvement projects on the State Route 347 corridor between Interstate 10 and State Route 238 in the city of Maricopa. This segment of SR 347 is located primarily within the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). Therefore, all studies and projects are being coordinated with GRIC, in accordance with federal and state regulations. Additional partners on these projects, depending on location, may include: the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Pinal County and the city of Maricopa.

In spring 2023, ADOT completed a safety study on SR 347 between I-10 and the northern city limits of Maricopa. The Road Safety Assessment (RSA) identified potential safety issues related to roadway traffic and evaluated possible ways to improve safety for drivers.
