Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer (AVSE)

The State of Arizona and many state agencies, including ADOT, are part of a growing community across Arizona of organizations that have earned the “Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer” (AVSE) designation. Working for an AVSE gives you peace of mind that the organization, its leaders, and your manager are all committed to recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans and service members transitioning to the civilian workforce.

They recognize, appreciate and value your service and want to add your skillset to their team. This support also extends to military and veteran spouses and family members. There is a network of AVSE employers across Arizona that all support a plan to provide meaningful career and educational opportunities for veterans, transitioning service members, and their families.

This plan is known as the Arizona Roadmap to Veteran Employment. Our partner in this work to grow support for hiring veterans is the Arizona Coalition for Military Families. Their Be Connected program offers additional support to assist you with your career search.
