If you have a question for ADOT, you have many choices when it comes to finding an answer.

Yes, you can always reach us on social media and even through the comments section here on the blog, but another great option is sending questions and concerns in the direction of our Constituent Services Office. It’s really easy … all you have to do is fill out an online comment form or make a phone call.

The Constituent Services Office handles more than 4,500 online inquiries each year, and the number of phone calls that come in tops 5,000 annually.

What surprises most people when they call or use the online form is that they receive a very quick response from a very real live person (no confusing automated messages). In fact, you can generally expect a response within an hour, unless your question requires additional input from one of our subject-matter experts.

Before you start asking away, there is one thing you can do to help us get you the fastest, most accurate answer…

When you complete the online form, be sure to specify which category your question falls under. You’ll be asked to “select an issue” from a variety of topics, and choosing the correct one is helpful, especially if you have an MVD-related question (think registration renewal questions or abandoned vehicle queries). That’s because when you select “Motor Vehicles,” you’ll immediately see another dialog box that allows you to input even more details about your question. All that information helps us to provide you a quicker answer.

When you call, it’s also important for you to the number that corresponds to your concern. Those with motor vehicle inquiries should call 602.255.0072. Everyone else who has a general, non-motor vehicle question should call 602.712.7355.
