January recap: Specialty Plate Spotlight

Did you know you can drive support to your favorite non-profit by showcasing them on your license plate?

In Arizona we have more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a wide range of causes or charities. To boost awareness, we spotlight one specialty license plate a week on social media.

Here are the plates that were featured in January:

• Alzheimer’s Awareness: $17 goes to research to promote the scientific understanding and early detection of Alzheimer's disease and to educate the Arizona residents about disease management.
• Barrett-Jackson: $17 of the fee goes to Barrett-Jackson Charities, to benefit the American Heart Association.
• All in for Arizona Schools: $17 goes to Arizona public educators who propose extraordinary activities, projects or lessons for students in K-8.
• Fiesta Bowl: $17 goes to support charities and programs across the state of Arizona designed to support youth, sports, and education.
• Arizona Historical Society: $17 goes to the Arizona Historical Society to fund their museums and programs state-wide.
