Look out for motorcyclists on Valley highways this week

With Arizona Bike Week happening this week at Westworld in Scottsdale, you might be seeing more motorcycles on Arizona highways. 

Although ADOT is not involved in the event, it’s never a bad time to remind drivers of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles how they can keep each other safer. For motorcyclists, never drive in a car’s blind spot. And for drivers of cars, always look twice before changing lanes.

We all have a responsibility to keep each other safe through our behavior behind the wheel (or handlebars.) Drive alert, slow down and let’s all make better decisions so we can all get home safely.
