October recap: Specialty Plate Spotlight

You can rev up support for your favorite charity by getting a specialty license plate from the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division!

We have more than 90 plates available for purchase so you can help raise awareness for the organization of your choice. To highlight our numerous offerings, we spotlight one plate a week on social media.

Here are the four plates we spotlighted in October. 

• Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers: Proceeds go to providing a safe space for ALL teens ages 12-20 to spend their time, receive positive mentorship and FREE music, art, dance, photography and recording studio lessons and opportunities.
• Curing Childhood Cancer: Proceeds got to the childhood cancer and rare childhood disease research fund.
• Arizona Diamondbacks: $17 goes to the Professional Sport Franchise Foundation for youth education/development, and for housing and healthcare for low-income persons.
• Child Abuse Prevention: $17 dollars of the initial and annual renewal fee goes to a special fund for child abuse prevention programs.
