PODCAST: An inside look at ADOT pump stations on Phoenix-area freeways

With another Arizona monsoon season at hand, we're giving you an inside look at what goes in pump stations that ADOT operates along low-lying stretches of Phoenix freeways. 

This week's episode of On the Road With ADOT features Justin Brook, ADOT's Pump House Operations Supervisor. His team is responsible for nearly 70 facilities that remove stormwater from freeways. 

Spend a few minutes with Justin and host Doug Nintzel and you'll have a better idea of what goes into maintaining and operating the drainage systems that are important to keeping Valley freeways operating amid rain.
