Vehicles drive on a freeway in an urban area.

The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is conducting a short survey that lets you be part of efforts to improve Interstate 10, including the SR 51/Loop 202 “Mini-Stack” interchange near downtown Phoenix.

You can access the survey here through Nov. 30 and help MAG’s study team focus on issues that you and other drivers think are the biggest challenges for the stretch of I-10 between the I-17 “Split” interchange near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Deck Park Tunnel north of downtown.

This is one of the busiest stretches of freeway in the Valley, handling more than 300,000 vehicle trips each day. Specifically, MAG is studying I-10 between the Split and the tunnel to address critical problems and issues affecting traffic operations and safety.

MAG is the Phoenix area’s metropolitan planning organization, which includes the important role of managing the Valley’s freeway scheduling and funding plans. ADOT works closely with MAG in designing and constructing freeway improvement projects.

By taking part in MAG’s easy survey, you’ll help its study team recommend design elements, operational strategies and policy action that can guide the design and construction of future projects along the I-10 corridor. Again, the survey is available for you to participate through Nov. 30, so click the ink and help MAG with its I-10 Freeway Corridor Study
