Airport security just got easy.

Apple Wallet IconArizona residents can now choose to add their driver license or state ID to Apple Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch, then present it easily and securely at select TSA airport checkpoints.

Secure

Your ID in Apple Wallet is secure with Face ID and Touch ID, the built-in security features of iPhone. This makes it so only you can present your driver license or state ID to the TSA.

If your iPhone or Apple Watch is misplaced or lost, you can manage your driver license or state ID in Apple Wallet with the Find My app. From any browser, log in to your iCloud account to pause or delete your ID.

Private

Your ID in Apple Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch is presented digitally between your device and the identity reader, so you’ll never need to show or hand over your iPhone or Apple Watch to the TSA.

Your driver license or state ID in Apple Wallet is stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch, keeping your data private and secure. Apple doesn’t know when or where you present your ID.

How to add your Arizona ID to Apple Wallet

To add your ID to your iPhone and any paired Apple Watch, open Apple Wallet and tap the Plus sign button at the top-right corner of the screen. Select Driver’s License or State ID, then follow the onscreen instructions to start the setup process.

How to present your ID at the airport

To present your ID on iPhone or Apple Watch at select TSA airport checkpoints, hold your device near the identity reader and review the requested information. When using your iPhone, you will need to confirm with Face ID or Touch ID. On Apple Watch, just double-click the side button to confirm and go.
