Signing and Striping

The Signing and Striping units are the force behind what the public sees on our roadways. Operating out of three regional hubs which include the Northern, Central and Southern Regions, these groups specialize in signing and striping. Responding to calls for signs or structures that are damaged due to crashes, fires or inclement weather which can be a hazard if not acted on immediately. These regions maintain more than 230,000 signs and 29,000 striping miles. The signing groups install regulatory signs, warning signs directional and informational signs. The striping groups installs lane striping, stop bars, crosswalks, arrows and other necessary pavement markings.
