Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) lane restrictions and ramp closures between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road scheduled May 12-18

NORTHBOUND LOOP 101

  • Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 12, and ending Friday morning, May 15.
  • Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. Friday, May 15, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 18.

SOUTHBOUND LOOP 101

  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 12, and ending Friday morning May 15.
  • The southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive and off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 13.
  • The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive and on-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 14.
  • The southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Raintree Drive and off-ramp at Cactus Road will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Thursday, May 14, to 5 a.m. Friday, May 15.
  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday, May 15, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 18.
    • During this time, the following southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramp closures will be needed:
      • Pima Road on-ramp
      • Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard on- and off-ramps
      • Raintree Drive on- and off-ramps
      • Cactus Road on- and off-ramps
      • Shea Boulevard off-ramp
    • Ramp detours: Drivers may consider using the next on- or off-ramp along the freeway. Follow the signed detour routes.
    • NOTE: Southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramps will not be closed simultaneously. Ramps are anticipated to be closed for several hours at a time. Crews will be moving around the area based on progress. 

NOTE: Law enforcement officers will be on-site and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.
