UPDATE: Interstate 17 lane restrictions, ramp closures at Pioneer Road scheduled Jan. 11-15

This advisory adds north- and southbound I-17 overnight lane restrictions between SR 74 and Anthem Way

  • The southbound I-17 on- and off-ramps at Pioneer Road will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, Jan. 11, and ending Wednesday morning, Jan. 14.
    • On-ramp detour: Drivers may consider using eastbound Pioneer Road to southbound Gavilan Peak Parkway/North Valley Parkway to westbound SR 74/Carefree Highway to access I-17.
    • Off-ramp detour: Drivers may consider exiting at Daisy Mountain Drive and taking southbound Gavilan Peak Parkway/North Valley Parkway to access Pioneer Road.
  • NEW: Southbound I-17 between Anthem Way and SR 74 will be narrowed to one lane nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, Jan. 11, and ending Tuesday morning, Jan. 13.
  • NEW: Northbound I-17 between SR 74 and Anthem Way will be narrowed to one lane nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Tuesday, Jan. 13, and ending Thursday morning, Jan. 15.

Note: Crews will be moving around the area each night based on progress. The northbound lane restrictions could start sooner if the southbound work progresses faster than anticipated.
