Southbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) lane restrictions and ramp closures between Indian School Road and Interstate 10 planned overnight June 30 and July 1
  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to one or two lanes between Indian School and McDowell roads from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday night, June 30, and Wednesday night, July 1. The following ramps will be intermittently closed:
    • The southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramps at Indian School and Thomas roads
    • The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at McDowell Road
    • NOTE: Loop 101 on- and off-ramps will not be closed simultaneously. Ramps are anticipated to be closed for 10-15 minutes at a time. Crews will be moving around the area based on progress.
 
On-going Restrictions
  • The inside left turn lanes at Thomas Road to north- and southbound Loop 101 will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 5 a.m. Monday, June 8 (one turn lane will remain open). 

    • East- and westbound Thomas Road at Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday nights while the long-term turn lane restrictions are in place beginning Monday, June 8. NOTE: Left turns will still be allowed. 

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
