Eastbound Loop 101 closed between Cave Creek Road and State Route 51 Jan. 9-12

Southbound SR 51 on-ramp at Black Mountain Boulevard also closed

Closures and restrictions beginning 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, as work continues on the eastbound Loop 101 to southbound State Route 51 ramp widening project:

  • Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between Cave Creek Road and SR 51.
    • Eastbound Loop 101 Detour: Drivers may consider using eastbound Union Hills Drive to northbound SR 51 or eastbound Deer Valley Road to southbound Tatum Boulevard to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.
    • Southbound SR 51 Detour: Drivers may consider using southbound Cave Creek Road to eastbound Union Hills Drive to access SR 51.
  • The southbound SR 51 on-ramp at Black Mountain Boulevard will be closed.
    • Detour: Drivers may consider using eastbound Deer Valley Road to southbound Tatum Boulevard and travel west on Union Hills Drive to access SR 51.  

UPCOMING CLOSURE

  • Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between Cave Creek Road and SR 51 Jan. 30-Feb. 2. At the same time, the southbound SR 51 on-ramp at Black Mountain Boulevard will be closed.
