Cross-street closures south of Main Street scheduled to occur July 1 and 2

• North- and southbound 80th Street will be closed at the south side of US 60X (Main Street) from 5 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, July 1. 
• North- and southbound 81st Street will be closed at the south side of US 60X (Main Street) from 5 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, July 2. 

NOTE: 80th and 81st streets will remain open north of Main Street.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

Traffic to be shifted to inside lane while work occurs on outside lanes, driveways

Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, US 60X (Main Street/Apache Trail) will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Ellsworth and Meridian roads to allow crews to work on paving, sidewalks, bike lanes, curbing, drainage and driveways.

Drivers will use the inside lanes while work occurs in the outside lanes. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. This phase will take approximately nine months to complete.
