Daytime US 60X (Main Street/Apache Trail) intersection and cross street closures planned Feb. 9-11

6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9

• 79th Place will be CLOSED on the south side of Main Street.
  • DETOUR: Main Street drivers may consider taking southbound 80th Street to westbound First Avenue to access 79th Place south of the closure.

7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10

• North- and southbound Ellsworth Road will be CLOSED at Main Street.
  • DETOURS: Northbound Ellsworth Road drivers coming from south of the intersection closure may consider taking westbound Broadway Road to northbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) to eastbound University Drive to access Ellsworth Road north of the closure. Southbound Ellsworth Road drivers coming from north of the intersection closure may consider taking westbound University Drive to southbound Loop 202 to westbound Main Street to access Ellsworth Road south of Main Street. 
• North- and southbound Meridian Road will be CLOSED at Apache Trail.
  • DETOURS: Northbound Meridian Road drivers coming from south of the intersection closure may consider taking eastbound Apache Trail to northbound Delaware Drive to westbound Superstition Boulevard/University Drive to access Meridian Road north of the closure. Southbound Meridian Road drivers coming from north of the intersection closure may consider using southbound Mountain Road to eastbound Apache Trail to access Meridian Road south of the closure. 

7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11

• North- and southbound Sossaman Road will be CLOSED at Main Street.
  • DETOURS: Northbound Sossaman Road drivers coming from south of the intersection closure may consider taking eastbound Broadway Road to northbound 80th Street to westbound Main Street to access Sossaman Road north of the closure. Southbound Sossaman Road drivers coming from north of the intersection closure may consider taking southbound Sunvalley Boulevard to eastbound Main Street to access Sossaman Road south of the closure. 

NOTE: East- and westbound through travel on Main Street will be permitted. Right turns from Main Street also will be permitted.

Ongoing: Traffic shifted to inside lane while work occurs on outside lanes and driveways

US 60X (Main Street/Apache Trail) is currently narrowed to one lane in each direction between Ellsworth and Meridian roads to allow crews to work on paving, sidewalks, bike lanes, curbing, drainage and driveways.

Drivers will use the inside lanes while work occurs in the outside lanes. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
